Zachary "Ziggy" Barjona

Founder & CEO​

Ziggy Barjona has been involved with youth sports for more than 30 years as a teacher, coach, mentor and leader. He is a graduate of Corban University with a degree in business, where he was a National Christian College Athletic Association All American basketball player. Multi-faceted is a term that defines Ziggy, with 20 years in the record industry, 15 years in social service and 30+ years as a coach. His former athletes have gone on to careers in the NBA and WNBA. Ziggy was inducted into the New England Hall of Fame and honored with the Pathfinder Award for his social and community contributions off the court helping youth.

Erik Haviland

Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer

Erik Haviland has been in the advertising and marketing world for nearly 30 years. He founded FUZE in 2003, a brand, marketing and creative agency. He sits on the advisory board of several volunteer organizations. Erik has both held and led every role across the agency gamut, and now spends most of his time serving as mentor to his team and clients, and keeping 5 very occupied teens involved in their respective sports.

Marc Rothmeyer​

Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Marc Rothmeyer has over 25 years’ experience in designing, developing, and marketing maps, apps, websites and GIS databases. He has worked for private corporations, federal and local governments and has been project manager on over 50 field surveys across North America and the Pacific Ocean. He is the founder of Dharma Maps and co-founder of MobCoder which offers customized mobile & web app development services. 

Andrea Garrett

Business Operations Consultant

Andrea is an entrepreneur, coach and consultant helping clients create meaningful success in their life and business by identifying core values and carefully creating goals to reflect those values. Using proprietary processes that include accountability, The Uncommon Principles and maximum efficiencies, Andrea works alongside clients to help them protect their goals and ultimately create their version of meaningful and sustained success. Andrea is a mom of two and based in Charlotte, NC where she works with a variety of individuals, entrepreneurs and teams. Andrea holds a BA in Psychology, a MA in Business and is a Licensed Professional Coach.

Leslie Godshall​

Finance & Accounting

Leslie oversees full life cycle financial management including accounts payable, accounts receivable, P&L, cost control, and annual budget management. She has more than 15 years in FP&A in businesses of all sizes, from theFUZE to General Electric. She holds a degree in International Business and is a Six Sigma Green Belt certified PM.

Lance Harris​

Vice Chair​

Lance Harris holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oral Robert’s University with graduate studies in International Business from Franklin University. A 15 year management professional with the E. I. Dupont Company holding various positions in Operations, Human Resources and Safety & Health with specific focus in compliance, joint venture operations, and customer partnerships in development.

Reginald McDaniel

Legal Affairs

Reginald D. McDaniel is a licensed attorney, mediator and arbitrator who started his law practice in 2002. He has over 20 years of management, administrative and executive level experience combined with almost 19 years of legal experience. Mr. McDaniel specializes in Civil Rights & Discrimination Law; Sports & Entertainment Law; and Serious Medical Malpractice/Personal Injury & Contract Law. He is the former ABA Pro Basketball Franchise owner of the Birmingham Magicians, and his life motto is, “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” (Martin Luther King Jr.).

Michael Hawthorne
Over 18 years in the sports footwear industry as a leader in product development, testing, innovation and marketing with Nike and Under Armour. Worked on various signature footwear projects including NBA superstars LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry and Michael Jordan. Worked with top D1 schools such as Duke, UNC, Notre Dame, UCLA, Kansas and Oregon. Over 20 years of mentoring and coaching boys’ basketball in Baltimore, MD and Portland, OR with half that time as a current assistant coach for the Baltimore elite high school St. Frances Academy; recognized by Curry Brand with national 2020 “Golden Ticket” award for coaching the youth and giving back to the community. Founder/CEO of the PAC West Group (PWG) with services and offices on both coasts located in Portland, OR and Baltimore, MD.
Eugene Robinson​

16 years as an NFL safety; Super Bowl Champion. Currently Charlotte-area media personality & multi-sport coach at Charlotte Christian.

Barb Nelson
33 years as a HS coach & teacher; Her teams have won more than 700 games and she has captured nine state championships at Providence Day and Myers Park. Served as head coach for 16/17 under USA Basketball, winning 2 gold medals.
India Adams​
Currently Head of School at Phoenix Montessori Academy. 4x all conference player at Belmont Abbey, graduated graduated cum laude, and has coached and trained numerous players throughout the Charlotte area that have gone on to play college basketball at all levels.
Manny Ohonme​
Internationally recognized as a philanthropist, social entrepreneur, businessman, author, and speaker. Founder and Chairman of Samaritan’s Feet, a humanitarian aid organization that have served more than 6.5 million people in 90 nations. Manny has deep roots in sports at all levels through his friendships developed through his organization.
Lynn Edwards
30 years as a leader in event management, with experience in overall event strategy, creative event design, event marketing, sponsorship development, contract negotiations, vendor management and overall meeting production.
Mushin Muhammad​
14 years as an NFL wide receiver; Captain in 2 Super Bowls. Currently Managing Director at Axum Capital Partners, serves on the Executive Business Committee of the NFL, and president of the M2 Foundation for Kids.
Morgan Cox​
Sports Reporter with CN2 News in Rock Hill, SC. Graduate of University of South Carolina with degrees in broadcast journalism and Sport & Entertainment Management.
Anthony George​
Owner/Operator @ Carolina Courts. He was a 4 Year NCAA D2 Basketball Athlete @ Belmont Abbey College & 9 Years Coaching Experience. Director of the largest Girls Basketball Academy in the state of NC With over 40 Teams.
Chancellor Barjona​
Chancellor Barjona graduated from Purdue University BS in Organizational Leadership and Supervision, also MBA. 10 years in Business Development/ Consulting with IBM, Medtronic, Keller Williams, Professional Athletes, and USA Today.
Irish C Williams
Currie Williams has over 20 years experience as a graphic art designer, videographer, and app developer as well as 44 years in the music industry as a musician & studio engineer and 26 years as a mechanical engineer in the plastic industry. He has also produced a variety of video projects for big-name companies like Coca-Cola, Nike, and Macy’s for Kimyons International.
